Obedience Training

-  We offer a variety of training classes provided by our knowledgeable and experienced trainer.  

-  Your dog will live with us for 2 weeks under the careful and skillful guidance of our professional trainer.

-  During their stay your dog will learn the following commands:  Heeling on Leash, Auto-Sit, Sit-Stay, Down-Stay, Come, Release, Stand.        

-  Once they are taught these commands, they will go through a series of Day-to-Day Distraction work to build a strong training foundation.

-  As with all newly learned skills, follow-up is important.  So, as part of the obedience package, you may bring your dog back 5 times for additional training in the 6 month period after their main instruction has been completed.

-  Our goal is to teach the owner principles of dog behavior and training techniques appropriate to their dog so that the owner can train the dog to be well mannered and a safe companion.

-  Obedience helps dogs gain self-confidence

-  Professional basic obedience training helps solve common dog behavioral problems.  (Chewing, excessive barking, fence jumping, biting, jumping on people, not coming when called, and digging.)
